So what now? Testing has begun but where are the goodies.
I guess I could start by asking Miles and Angela if they got their ghostly leak fixed in their living room ceiling. I have been trying to do some research but I have not found a similar case out there on the web. The only thing I can think of is either a bad condensate drain (plugged up) or a bad evaporator coil (not routing the condensate to the drain properly). Or maybe the drain pan has a small hole in it which in turn will leak into the ducting. I don’t think they would have installed the coil upside down. Miles, when you saw the coil was it A framed or V framed from your visual perception?
Sorry I couldn’t make it to small group yesterday, I hope you all had fun.
The coil is A shaped. The evaporator coil not routing the condensation correctly sounds exactly like what it is doing. We will see on Monday what the big educated mechanical engineer has to say. Nice to see you guys last night!
